Composing a soundtrack for a film can be a difficult thing. It can be very hard to capture the very essence of a film like Jig. The dancing champions of the Irish world have such a delightful spirit. It can be difficult to put all the different moments into one film score.

The Basic Plot of Jig Explained

Jig is the story of the 40th Irish World Dancing Championships, which was held in March of 2010 in Glasgow. Thousands of dancers and family members make their way to Glasgow from the week long competition. Competitors dressed themselves in expensive dresses, wigs, and makeup in order to make their performance extra special. This was the first time that anyone was allowed to film these coveted championships.
